Rally at the State House for the Anniversary of Citizens United v. FEC ruling!
Join us Friday, January 20th at 3 pm
Activists from around the state will be gathering in front of the State House steps in Montpelier to rally in support of Senator Ginny Lyon’s resolution calling for a constitutional amendment that says corporations are not people.
The rally is part of a national week of action around the anniversary that includes several great events in Vermont. There are more than 45 towns where citizens are gathering signatures to put this issue on the town meeting agenda, events planned around the anniversary in Burlington, Rutland and Brattleboro. Senator Lyons will address the assembled along with VPIRG Executive Director, Paul Burns.
