The Green Mountain Care Board recently announced that they will hold their second annual informational forum on the rate review process, and the Board’s role in approving the rates all Vermonters pay for health insurance. This year’s forum will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd from 1-3 pm in the Green Mountain Care Board Room, located on the second floor of the City Center Building at 89 Main Street in Montpelier.
Judy Henkin, the Board’s Health Policy Director will start the Forum with a brief overview of the rate review process as it stands now, and how individuals and business owners can get involved. Following the presentation the Board will devote the remainder of the forum to listen to comments and questions. The Board hopes to hear about people’s experiences with the current system and how the rate setting process impacts Vermonters.
