Toxic-Free Families Day- February 12th

What: A day of action aimed at showing broad public support for better protections from toxic chemicals in Vermont

When: Wednesday, February 12th at 10:00 am

Where: The Cedar Creek Room at the State House in Montpelier

Who: Anyone who supports this issue, and children are more than welcome

Why: Federal toxic chemical regulations are broken, allowing untested and dangerous chemicals into consumer products. With over 84,000 chemicals on the market, Vermont needs a thoughtful, systematic approach to addressing harmful chemicals. This type of policy will help Vermonters have confidence that products on our store shelves are toxic-free.

How: We will meet in the Cedar Creek Room of the State House at 10:00 am for a press conference with legislators calling for toxic chemical reform. From there, we will hold meetings with legislators from across the state delivering our message loud and clear: now is the time for toxic chemical reform in Vermont.
