Call on the Public Service Board to Deny Fracked Gas Pipeline
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently released a report finding that the greenhouse gas impact from methane released from fracking rivals global warming emissions from coal. Armed with this information, fracking opponents are hosting a local Global Frackdown event to engage the public in opposition to the Fracked Gas Pipeline.
With the Public Service Board (PSB) making a decision on the pipeline in a few short weeks, citizens called on the PSB to deal with the climate impacts of expanding use of fracked gas before making their decision.
