Details for the Summit

Here’s everything you need to prepare for the Vermont Environmental Summit:

First, getting to Vermont Technical College is easy! You’ll take exit 4 off I-89. Turn onto Route 66-E and in just under a mile and you’ll see VTC straight ahead. Here’s a campus map. We’re in building Judd Hall (Building #4 on the map). The main parking lot (D) is right by the main campus entrance. Signs will direct you to Judd Hall.

Food and drink will be bountiful and are included in registration. Bring a travel mug and water bottle to help us save on waste.

If you haven’t yet checked out the agenda and workshop options, take a look here.

Know any friends, family or neighbors who care about environmental issues?  Invite them along! They can register at the door. See a brief invitation you can forward at the bottom of this message.

Again, thank you for dedicating your Saturday to participating in the Summit.  It’s always a highlight for us here at VPIRG – meeting face-to-face the engaged citizens who make our democracy work, our communities healthy and vibrant, and turn solutions into action.

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

P.S. Can you take a moment to forward an invitation to your friends and contacts? You can visit our facebook page to share our post or here’s a blurb you can use to spread the word:

I’m attending the Vermont Environmental Summit tomorrow, Saturday, November 9, at Vermont Technical College and would love you to join me.  The keynote speaker, Gary Hirshberg, is a national leader in the GMO labeling movement and Chairman of Stonyfield Organics. You can register at the door in the morning. For details, go to http://bit.ly/VTEnvSummit.
