Senator Chris Bray blasts proposed fracked gas pipeline

In a must-read op-ed he penned in VTDigger, Senator Chris Bray explains why the Public Service Board should protect private property rights and deny the proposed fracked gas pipeline through Cornwall and Shoreham to serve International Paper in New York.

“We should, as Vermonters, guard our constitutional rights with care and vigor,” Bray writes. “In this case, there is no public use, no necessity, and private property rights should prevail.”
